I hope you find “better” mods that will handhold you through the entire process in the future. Honestly at this point I think you’re just purposely being obtuse so I’m out. You'll just need to run the normal setup launcher to see the 'Uninstall' option, or delete the entire game folder. If you no longer want to use ReShade, you can uninstall it in a few easy steps. It’s also open source, so if you think you can do better feel free to write an uninstaller and send a PR to the project on GitHub. Video ReShade is a software used to improve the graphics of many popular games including The Sims 4, Final Fantasy 14, and Red Dead Redemption 2. ReShade is far more advanced than most mods. If you don’t have the patience, knowledge, and/or mental acuity to understand how to mod games then you should not be touching mods and just play the games as they’re sold. People make stuff like this and tons of people use it with no issues. You have to manually move and edit game files and folders, and undo those changes manually to remove said mods. Look at instructions to install or remove basically anything on a site like Nexus Mods. This is more of a game mod than it is an application. I’m sure the dev will get around to getting you a refund soon. And running the installer to uninstall a program is Microsoft’s first recommendation on their support site: īut continue to be angry about something that you messed up yourself. This used to be the norm, back in the day.
